The current funding of the Cochrane Colorectal Group is provided by the Danish Government. In accordance with the policy of the Cochrane Collaboration, the Cochrane Colorectal Group does not receive funding from commercial sources, defined as any for-profit manufacturer or provider of health care.

Cochrane Colorectal Group wants to thank all the Cochrane entities (centres, fields and other collaborative review groups) for supporting and careful reading and linguistic comments of annual reports, guidelines and applications i.e.

Cochrane's central functions are funded by royalties from its publishers, John Wiley and Sons Limited, which come from sales of subscriptions to The Cochrane Library. The individual entities of Cochrane are funded by a large variety of governmental, institutional and private funding sources, and are bound by organisation-wide policy limiting uses of funds from corporate sponsors.
